NANO HVAC research program

The participation of Mechanical Solutions in the conference of the NANO HVAC research program was successfully completed.

On Friday 28-8-2015, an international final conference was held at the "LAVRIOU TECHNOLOGICAL PARK" within the framework of the NANO HVAC research program, funded by the EU under FP7.
Participating in the program is the NTUA (Department of Mining Engineering - Metallurgists) whose scientific collaborator is Mechanical Solutions.
The object of the research project is the design - research and development of new methods of air distribution and treatment in buildings in order to save energy and create a healthier environment inside the building.
Mechanical Solutions participated in the conference with two presentations made by the engineer of Lampadaki Stelios. The topics of his presentations were:
1. Basic principles of HVAC systems, examples and applications. Methods of limiting airway losses and already insulation.
2. Indoor air quality in buildings. The sick building syndrome. Air treatment systems in modern HVAC systems.

Participants in the conference (and in the research program) were:
1. The company for the development and production of Nanotechnology technologies NanoPhos (Greece) Technical University of Milan (Italy)
2. Nanotechnology technology development company INL (Portugal)
3. The paint company Farbe (Italy)
4. The research center D’APPOLONIA (Italy)
5. The construction company Acciona (Spain)
6. The SIRRIS Research Center (Belgium)
7. The National Technical University of Athens (Greece)
8. The ICA Institute for the Development of Insulating Materials (Romania)
