"Saving at Home II" for Crete finally opens

The electronic platform for submitting applications for inclusion in the "Saving at Home II" program is gradually opening tomorrow after many delays and problems.

The submission process after the platform collapses due to overload will be partially opened within three weeks. As announced by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, within a few hours 1.5 million attempts were made to enter the electronic platform for Saving at Home. From the very first minutes of operation, it was found that specific e-mail addresses (IP’s) attempted to enter simultaneously with a number of different codes.
It is being investigated whether it is the use of malware. In any case, the excessive workload that resulted burdened the electronic platform to the limits of its capabilities, resulting in long delays. In this context, thousands of stakeholders suffered, trying in time to register data, under the additional pressure of stress involved in any process where order of priority is observed.
Those interested should enter the address exoikonomisi.ypen.gr in order to submit their applications and the online platform will be activated in sections as follows:
• Monday, March 19: Eastern Macedonia - Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece.
• Monday, March 26: Western Macedonia, Peloponnese, Central Greece, Ionian, North Aegean, Crete.
• Monday, April 2: Attica, South Aegean.
In all cases the electronic platform will be open from 08:00.
